Slug Security will always be free to join, but we do have activity requirements to be an active member.
Discord is our central hub for all club activities, this includes managing members. After joining, run /verify, you will receive instructions to authenticate using your UCSC email, this gives you the verified member role and access to our member portal
Each quarter, meet either of the criteria below (just one, not both) to auto-receive the active member Discord role. We sync the active members list at the end of every quarter
Attend at least one workshop, CTF practice, social, or any other official club event
See eventsStay regularly active in our Discord channels, no event attendance needed
Join DiscordSpin up attack boxes, vulnerable images, and attack/defend labs for workshops or solo practice
Open rangeWorkshops, socials, and meetups run through the school year, drop into anything on the calendar
See eventsJoin the team for upcoming CTFs, weekly practice and coordination happens in Discord
CTFtime teamFollow @SlugSec for the more human and social side of the club
